Can our business remain operational during your work?

Depending on the type of work required, yes. We always take our clients’ business needs into account when we set up a project’s schedule. While some minor disruptions may be unavoidable, we make every effort to keep your business up and running while we work.


How much will it cost?

Cost varies greatly depending on the size of the project and the materials used. But we gladly estimate each project on an individual basis and work within your budget.


Can you design our project?

We work with a number of regional architectural firms to meet your design needs. We can also recommend an architect for you to work with directly. Either way, we believe that the team-build concept is the best way to deliver a project on-time and on-budget, so we work very closely with the architect from beginning to end.


What subcontractors do you use?

We have longstanding relationships with subcontractors throughout the region and invite only the most qualified to work with us. We match the subcontractors to the scope of your project.


How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 1975.


Are you insured, licensed and bonded?

We are licensed by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, State Board for Contractors, as a Class A building contractor, meaning that we can construct buildings of any size or cost. We are fully insured for general liability and workers compensation, and a copy of our insurance certificate outlining our coverage can be provided at your request. We can provide performance, labor and material payment bonds if requested.


Are you a member of any professional associations? Do you mind if we check with the Better Business Bureau?

We are members of the Roanoke Regional Commercial Builders Council, the Blue Ridge Construction Specifications Institute, and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects. As a former board member of the Better Business Bureau of Western Virginia, we recommend that you check out every business that you are considering dealing with through the BBB. We are extremely proud of the work that we have done over the years and have hundreds of satisfied customers. We would be more than happy to provide you with a list of customers.


What geographic areas do you work in?

Our work is concentrated in the Roanoke and New River valleys, including Smith Mountain Lake.


I have seen your signs on houses. Do you also do residential work?

We have a separate residential division that renovates and builds houses, so yes, we do both.
