Insert a contemporary design into a traditional box, drawing on the owner's love of curves. The room's lack of right angles reflects the owner's daring and sense of fun. Tall walls provide plenty of space for artistic handiwork. A flat-screen television recessed into the wall, with a corner fireplace from inside and out, completes the entertainment center. Outside, a sweeping colonnade separates a stone-paver courtyard from the driveway, with a more imposing entrance complementing both the traditional front and the free-form rear.
