Lightning, water, fire, and smoke damage repair in Roanoke, VA.

Situation:

During a thunder storm, this Roanoke home was struck by lightning which ignited a fire in the elevator shaft on the second floor of the home. Thankfully, one of the homeowners was home and the home sustained little fire damage, however it did sustain extensive water damage. The homeowners moved to a rental home during the restoration and renovations.

Solution:

BSI quickly began the process of getting this lovely couple back into their home. The home had to have total restoration and was stripped to the studs, removing all of the drywall, insulation, floors, fixtures etc. The couple had lived in the home for years and decided to make some design updates while restoration was underway. BSI brought on Earle Shumate with Hughes Associates to design the much needed updates to this 1970s home.
