Hotel Roanoke Governor’s Suite

Situation:

The Governor’s Suite at Hotel Roanoke had begun to show its age. The last upgrade to this two bedroom suite was during the early 90’s. The entry was dark and did not offer a welcoming flow into the suite’s foyer. The private rooftop balcony was not accessible from within the suite. Due to the high demand for this premiere suite, Building Specialists was limited to a four week window of time to transform the space back to a modern luxury penthouse.

Solution:

BSI started with a design that removed walls to open up the entry and create a 15ft vaulted ceiling. Beautiful travertine flooring was added to the entry and foyer to give open flow and elegance. The master suite was upgraded with a totally new bath, which included a glass walled walk-in shower with warm porcelain stone floors and surround. Access to the rooftop patio was created with a French door off the entry that allows light to spill into the foyer.
